Should She Bow Out?

As much as it pains me, I agree with this letter to Gov. Palin. Plus, I am assuming/hoping that if she stays in the race, it must mean we are in for a party change this fall!

I've been wondering if she is another Harriet Miers - they try her out and then when there's an outcry, she steps down only to be replaced with someone equally scary but who can speak in coherent sentences...

I think McCain is too stubborn and if he changed it now it would look worse than if he kept her in... I think he really believes that she is a great choice and eventually we'll all see it too (terrifying).

That is a great comparison, very true! I just really can't believe how many woman think she is so wonderful. It makes me ashamed, wondering who failed these women, to give them such low standards. Wow, that sounds so rude!

Totally blows my mind I that so many women think this woman is anything but a 'token' strategy all in the name of votes, as evidenced by her performance so far. Isn't it strange to feel like something is so clear to you and to have other people (i.e.my fam) have a totally different view of it. Surreal kind of. Like I want to just look at them and ask them, "Are you kidding me?"

Oh my gosh Wen, I totally understand that. We have family - won't name any names that are totally Palin supporters and it's so unbelievable. How in their right mind can they defend or support her or McCain for that matter! I'm sure they feel the same about us - they just don't understand that we are the logical thinkers!!
