Sometimes it is such a challange

to parent this little person.

This picture is so blurry because he is running right at me. He is so wild compared to Boone at this age. He must act like the big boys all the time and if he can't or isn't able too...watch out! Complete melt down. This was taken when he was running all over the park at Fishhook this weekend. Granted he'd been cooped up on the boat all morning but Jeez! He never stops and is so daring. He climbs anything, a complete monkey as evidenced by this next pic.

Remember when I was talking about him being Picasso. Well this weekend when Josh and I were within about 4 feet of him he managed to color on the carpet with blue crayon. Like a huge one foot square area in about 5 seconds. Amazing! But we love him dearly and we are learning a lot.

Digital Diva

Well, actually far from it but I am pretty proud of my first two digital layouts. Digital elements courtesy of CK's August kit of the month.

Portland Visit

Forgot to post about our trip to Portland last weekend. It was a nice visit with Mark and Jess and our boys were actually pretty well behaved. Hopefully Jakob didn't pick up any new bad habits. I can't believe that I didn't get a pic of Jess's belly. It is so tiny now that there isn't too much to see unless it is right before bed.
We spent some time at Sellwood Park and Brody kept going down this huge slide by himself! It is like 8 ft high...no picture of that either. What did I get pictures of? Well not any of this great exhibit we saw at OMSI (photos weren't allowed in). We didn't get any of Josh at "800 Beers" or whatever the name of the fabulous new store he visited was. We didn't get any of the BBQ we went to or the Watson's nice friends that invited us over. We didn't take any of me actually drinking beer like three times that weekend. Mark did take our camera to take a few pics at the zoo while we were at OMSI. I'll spare you the photo he took for me of the zebra pooping. Lovely Watson!

Create

This is my latest attempt at creativity. There are so many things that I want to play with as far as crafting supplies is now I have a place to put my ideas and inspirations. It would probably be better titled for that purpose but I didn't have enough room for all that chipboard. So far just some funny quotes for cards and some pictures of color I like from Sunday's Target add.

Something New...

Jessica and Mark had their ultrasound and ... it's a girl!  I am so excited for them but a little sad that I'll be the one without a girl. Or course maybe, that makes me the lucky one! Boone is emotional enough, I am not sure I could handle a girl's mood swings.

Well, I guess I am off to bed. Josh has to get up and drive to Yakima to work in 2 hours. Some short of shutdown, but work at midnight! Yuck, that's why I don't work in a hospital.

Absolutely Could Not Resist

this one...

You Are 76% Democrat
You have a good deal of donkey running through your blood, and you're proud to be liberal. You don't fit every Democrat stereotype, but you definitely belong in the Democrat party.

M-O-M-M-Y needs C-O-F-F-E-E

One more thing...

What Your Latte Says About You

You are easygoing and pretty simple to please. You don't put up a fuss... ever.

You can be quite silly at times, but you know when to buckle down and be serious.

You have a good deal of energy, but you pace yourself. You never burn out too fast.

You're addicted to caffeine. There's no denying it.

You are responsible, mature, and truly an adult. You're occasionally playful, but you find it hard to be carefree.

You are deep and thoughtful, but you are never withdrawn.

No Where for Me To Live

Got this quiz idea from Bexy! Looks like I don't fit in very many places :(

The Prock's are Rockin'

This is what we are listening to at our house right now. Steph introduced us to them and we love it. It is kind of reggae, alternative cool boat music.
O.A.R. (Of a Revolution) is apparently big in the college scene but since we know how far out of that we are now... The boys love rockin' out to it, Brody just bounces up and down. Josh belts out the lyrics he knows, watch out! Hope you enjoy it too!

Our Little Picasso

or something... I have no pictures to prove it but once again Brody attacked the white keyboard on Josh's ibook Mac with RED dry erase pen. Arghhh! Thanks goodness for magic erasers but there are still a few bits that I can't get off. Maybe keeping the laptop closed would help prevent this little disaster from repeating itself yet again! Hint, Hint!
